Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to ongoing headcount growth across the entire APAC region, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Consultant to join our HR & Learning group, in either our Singapore or Hong Kong office. Reporting directly to the L&D Manager for APAC, you will provide value-added learning solutions to the firm, and key-support to the upcoming projects related to the development and delivery of training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree qualified and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in Training and Development
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 3 years direct experience in an L&D role, ideally in a professional services environment, prior legal knowledge or experience favourable,
- Proven track record in facilitating learning workshops
- Experience using e-learning software and of working directly with e-learning specialists
- Awareness of the emerging trends in Learning and Development and of best practice
- Ability to effectively prioritise workload and handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects
- Proven track record of being a strong team player
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy and confidence
- Able to take the initiative and driven by the desire for continuous improvement
- Mandarin speaking capability is highly valued but not required
Responsibilities:
Learning Design and Delivery
- Working with the Learning and Development Manager on the design and implementation of Practice Group / Business Support function specific development activity
- Jointly responsible for the delivery of in-house Pinsent Masons Academy workshops
- Support core people-related projects and systems such as Induction, Performance Management, Career Conversations; and facilitate training for these as required
- Provide advice on relevant L&D policies and practice, including global programs and initiatives
- Collaborate, build and maintain professional relationships with external providers
E-learning Design
- Works with the L&D team to design and develop SCORM compliant e-learning
- Develop storyboards and scripts for e-learning and virtual live training
