Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technical Trainer plays a key role in developing and enhancing our claims teams’ technical competency and proficiency through formal training and individual coaching.
The Technical Trainer assists in developing and delivering training sessions, provides practical support, and coaches staff in claims management processes, systems, guidelines, practices, and strategy.
The delivery and coordination of the claims management trainee program is a key part of this role.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in claims management or in a statutory benefits system
  • Strong working knowledge of NSW workers’ compensation legislation and associated regulations
  • Exposure to icare claims management systems
  • Coaching or training experience
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Presentation skills
