Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure all laboratory facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, assigning tasks to cleaning staff based on priority and workload.
  • Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections of laboratory facilities to assess cleanliness and identify areas requiring attention or improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate orders as needed.
  • Address cleaning-related issues or concerns raised by laboratory staff in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of cleaning staff, providing feedback and support as needed to maintain high standards of performance.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to lab cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and new developments in cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
