HIRING UNIT: School of Physical and Occupational Therapy
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Review cadaveric anatomy with incoming Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) QY students during a 2-day anatomy workshop. Lab helpers will be responsible for two stations each (one on each workshop day).
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BSc in Rehabilitation Science (PT or OT)
- Previous experience as a UCA for ANAT 315/316 an asset
- Or previous work as a prosector in the anatomy lab or anatomy tutor
DATES: August 26th (afternoon) and 27th (morning)
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate all of the anatomical structures to students with the use of prosections
- Differentiate identified structures from adjacent structures
- Prepare quiz questions and quiz students about the anatomical structures, concerning: attachment points (origin, insertion), innervation (nerve, nerve roots), and function;
- Answer questions related to the clinical relevance of the anatomical structures for either PT or OT, with reference to material taught at the School and, if applicable, to clinical experience from prior clinical placements
- Provide clinical insight on predetermined anatomical structures and discuss potential implications of injury/ degeneration of these structures for specific populations.
