Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology

Position Summary:

• Assists with experiments studying the Rhomboid 3 protein in the aging cerebellum
• Prepares solutions for experiments
• General lab maintenance

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

• Previous lab work experience with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases
• Attention to detail
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a lab setting
• Knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases is a plus
• Biology background
• WHMIS is an asset
• Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 on a scale of 0-4.
