Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Fiona Soper)

Position Summary:

• Assists with the preparation of chemical solutions;
• Assists with the set up of enzyme assays;
• Assists with running plant gas exchange systems;
• Cares for greenhouse plants.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

• Attention to details;
• Basic data entry skills;
• Familiarity with lab environment and basic safety procedures;
• Experience handling chemicals and basic wet chemistry

Experience and education:

• Basic understanding of plant biology;
• Lab Course experience.
