Hiring Unit:
Department of Physiology - Ana Nijnik Lab
Position Summary:

The incumbent will conduct:

• PCR genotyping of DNA samples,
• including preparation of DNA samples,
• setup and optimization of PCR reactions,
• agarose gel electrophoresis,
• data logging and interpretation.

They will also assist graduate students with processing of biological samples.
Contract Period: May 13, 2024 to August 31, 2024.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
Must be eligible for the McGill work-study program.

Knowledge of French and English:
McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
