OUR CLIENT IS A ENVIRONMENTAL MNC. DUE TO THEIR CURRENT EXPANSION PLAN, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR LAB MANAGER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM, IN HOPES OF DEVELOPING THE CURRENT HIGH PERFORMING TEAM. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST.

Responsibility

• Develop Standard Operating Procedures for testing and analysis.
• Procure necessary equipment to carry out laboratory work and maintain equipment and ensure general housekeeping of the laboratory.
• Monitor safety compliance of all lab consumables, equipment, and fixtures.
• Manage all portable X-Ray devices, including maintenance logs.
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing the department’s monthly and quarterly operational budget and report to the Managing Director.
• Apply for and manage licenses required for lab consumables, equipment, and fixtures.
• Administer lab documentation, ISO administration, and renewal processes.
• Drive the identification of testing and analytical methodologies for refining base and precious metals from electronic waste, jewelry, and other scrap.
• Collaborate with the Guangzhou laboratory and other teams to perform analysis on precious and platinum group metals using ICP-OES, XRF, and other lab equipment.
• Provide analysis data for the engineering team to fine-tune processes and sampling systems and ensure in-house ICP analysis results align with partner refineries.
• Manage recruitment, coaching and training for new staff.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

• Min in chemistry or any other equivalent qualifications
• Min 4 years of working experience as Lab Manager
• Working knowledge in ICP equipment and conduct ICP training
• Knowledge in handling XRF analytical tool will be added bonus
