REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Material Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory management, with a focus on precious metals, ICP, and XRF analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in operating ICP and XRF instruments.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Good understanding of quality management systems and laboratory accreditation requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Experience in precious metals industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the operations of the laboratory specializing in precious metals, ICP, and XRF analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and timely analysis of samples using ICP and XRF techniques.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff.
  • Manage laboratory supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advances, and regulatory requirements related to laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Manage client relationships and provide technical support and consultation.
