Description:
About this role
We are looking for an engaged person to manage our equipment calibration. We are operating about 400 pieces of equipment in the Hamburg lab that are required for state-of-the-art qualification of our diodes and transistors. The role also includes to support the complete lab team with purchasing of materials, shipment of equipment parts, cost and quality improvements.
What you will do
- Planning and organization of equipment calibration service on-site or at external partners
- Ensure all equipment is in time according to manufacturer’s specification.
- Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance records
- Ensure test equipment is working in line with international standards and company requirements, and meets health and safety standards (Risk Assessment, thermography analysis and DGUV)
- Prove by KPIs our compliance
- Drive continuous improvement activities to optimize processes and procedures
- Support commercial discussions with external/internal suppliers to define and drive improvements
- Support lab team as required (obtaining quotes, submission and tracking of purchase orders, sample shipments, 12NC application, etc.)
- Manage equipment master data in SAP (e.g. equipment activation)
- Perform yearly assets inventory
- Represent organization in internal audits
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree or a comparable qualification in electronic, commercial or a similar discipline
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience
- Advanced skills in MS Office tools especially Excel
- Experience with SAP software
- Experience with characterization and reliability equipment is preferred
- Experience with calibration methods according to “AIAG Measurement System Analysis” is preferred
- Understanding of industry quality standards AEC-Q101 is preferred
- High attention to details and analytical thinking
- Strong quality mindset and result driven attitude
- Team player
- Business fluent in German and good English language skills
