Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to join our biotech startup. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with laboratory techniques, a strong understanding of biotechnology processes, wet bench skills, Next Gen Sequencing and molecular PCR tools experience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g., biology, biochemistry, molecular biology).
• Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.

• Sample Processing and Analysis:
• Extract DNA, amplify and sequence samples with a high degree of accuracy.
• Collaborate with the research team to troubleshoot and address any issues during data collection.
• Laboratory Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Monitor and replenish laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables.
• Quality Control:
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the reliability and reproducibility of experimental results.
• Participate in quality control checks to maintain high standards of research integrity.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of laboratory activities.
• Assist in the training of new laboratory personnel on laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
• Documentation:
• Maintain detailed and organized records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and documentation for internal and external purposes.
