Responsibilities:

As a Labor and Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Being a lawyer or labor relations expert specializing in L&E and LR laws & regulations/policies & practices as they pertain to employees, including in the areas of benefits, compensation, and human rights.
  • Being specialized and providing guidance and counsel in union negotiations and employee relations matters.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approaches and methods for solving complex problems
  • Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the even

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Labor relations, or similar from an accredited university or college.
  • Have 2 - 3 years of experience in labor relations, and unions in Argentina.
  • Demonstrate oil and gas industry expertise is preferable.
  • Be fluent in English.
  • Be able to travel 20% - 30% of the time within the country
