ABOUT THE ROLE
The Laboratory/Packaging Analyst is pivotal within our client’s Technical Centre, located in Coolaroo. This position is an on-going, temporary role and is responsible for conducting detailed quality testing of paper and board products, underpinning our client’s commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding the material science behind paperboard products and applying this knowledge towards enhancing quality assurance processes and product development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive tests on paper and board samples and accurately report findings.
Engage in quality analysis, lab data interpretation, and internal equipment calibration checks.
Participate in continuous improvement projects, contributing to the enhancement of laboratory operations and efficiency.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and adhere to strict housekeeping practices.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment and product issues, ensuring the reliability of test results.
