DESIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Completion of secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably with a science background.
- Minimum 2 years of related laboratory experience.
- Able to work independently.
- The ability to function as part of a lab team and demonstrate regular attendance is required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary part-time Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic Supply Chain Operations West team.
The Supply Chain Operations West team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing technical assistance and maintaining the laboratory, all laboratory equipment and test instruments. In this role, you will be working on the frontlines, assisting in the delivery of products, processes and services that provide life-saving treatments for Canadians.
