Job Purpose
The Lab Assistant will precisely measure synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils, and powder chemicals according to specified formulations as outlined in the company’s Standard Operating Procedures and health and safety protocols. Collaborate effectively within a team, upholding comprehensive health, safety, and hygiene practices. Facilitate open communication with other departments to swiftly resolve any issues, thus maintaining the highest level of customer service for our Perfumers, Sales and our production colleagues.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Precisely weigh and blend aromatic oils and chemicals per set formulations, following company protocols rigorously.
• Assist Perfumers in swift development of fragrance oils.
• Guarantee accurate labeling of bottles, including traceability details.
• Comply with company Health & Safety, Lab SOP and raw material handling procedures.
• Place weekly raw material orders and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 stock records.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, following GMP and GLP practices.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and dryness prior to use.
• Operate the DFL machine when needed.

Skills and Attributes Required

• QUALIFICATIONA relevant qualification in Chemistry or related discipline. Previous experience in University projects / Internships / Trainings is a definite advantage.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• The ideal candidate for this position will have experience / knowledge in one or more of the following experimental techniques: EEG, galvanic skin response, eye tracking and facial expression analysis.

• Enthusiastic team player and good time management skills
• Understanding of data privacy standards
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic AX will be an advantage
• Computer literate and skilled in using Office 365 with excellent ability using spreadsheets
