JOB SUMMARY

As a Laboratory Clerk for our Sample Processing team located in Senneville, you will mainly be responsible for sample preparation, retrieving all specimens and transport them in a timely manner to the laboratory. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepares the required material for the study conduct according to information received and keep a functional inventory of the required material
  • Conduct the preparation and the distribution of biological samples
  • Perform the filing, archiving, transfer, or disposal of material
  • Printing and labelling of samples (blood, urine, etc.)
  • Retrieving and transportation of collected samples to the appropriate laboratory

Responsibilities:

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
  • Salary: $16.25/hrs
  • Annual bonus based on performance
  • Schedule: Weekdays, between Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime on weekends
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week
