Floating/Contract Phlebotomist
Biofyl Scientific Research is an independent contract research laboratory with more than 20 years of expertise in the field of Regenerative Medicine. Biofyl specializes in hematology and autologous biologics research and provides scientific services for customized testing of medical devices and autologous biologics for regulatory, marketing and research and development.
Operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment. This includes calibration, troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance to ensure proper functionality and accuracy of results.
Overseeing laboratory operations, including maintaining inventory of supplies and reagents, managing laboratory budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols. They may also be responsible for ordering supplies, organizing laboratory space, and coordinating with other team members or departments.
Analyzing experimental data using statistical software or other analytical tools and preparing reports or presentations summarizing findings.

FLOATING/CONTRACT PHLEBOTOMIST

Biofyl is seeking a talented and experienced Phlebotomist to support research in regenerative medicine on a contract basis.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required

EXPERIENCE:

• CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Two years or more of phlebotomy experience preferred

• Perform blood draws according to specifications on a project basis.
• Ensure correct recording and labeling of all specimens collected.
• Develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with laboratory staff and blood donors.
• Flexibility and dependability is required
