We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Supervising a laboratory with two other Medical scientists in a multi-disciplinary setting (Biochemistry, Haematology/Coagulation/Blood Bank)
• Prioritising work-flow to meet client’s requirements
• Ensuring results are released within agreed turnaround times
• Liaising with senior staff and Pathologists regarding unusual and abnormal results
• Overseeing the management of laboratory equipment to ensure equipment is maintained in optimal condition and working order, scheduled routine maintenance is performed, and any unscheduled maintenance is performed as required
• Reviewing and updating all laboratory documentation as required
