About the role
Our laboratory located in Myaree, Perth, is presently welcoming applications for the full-time position of Operations Manager. If you are passionate about laboratory operations, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
As the Operations Manager, you’ll supervise the critical daily laboratory workflows, spanning from sample receipt through to reporting, to ensure meeting deadlines, and that resources are appropriately allocated and shared. This will include collaborating with various departments to assess workloads, review sample processes and ultimately, enhance productivity. The position includes regular client interaction and you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring that client requests are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
You’ll lead initiatives to identify areas for enhancement across all workflows, implement process improvements, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the laboratory.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
About you
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Minimum 5 years experience in a laboratory environment
Previous experience in a leadership role
Formal qualifications in Science or Chemistry
Facility Assigned (NATA) Signatory
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of effectively managing teams and driving operational excellence
