Description:
SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline like Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Science.
- A strong understanding of ceramic chemistry (or a willingness to learn).
- Proficiency in mathematics and MS Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
- Highly organised and strong time management skills.

Responsibilities:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Conduct product testing and assessments in accordance with Australian Standard.
- Manage the NATA lab and the NATA accreditation.
- Assist in the quality control of the products.
- Manage and audit the quality control system.
- Assist in the research and development of product improvements.
- Assist in the research and development of stockpile improvements/modification.
- Assist in the annual research and development tax claim.
- Develop initiatives to improve processes and sustainability.
- Manage field quality issues.
- Research background literature.
- Analysis and testing of raw materials.
- Assist in answering technical enquiries.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping on and around the laboratory.
