About The Role
To manage, coach and coordinate Direct Reports. To assist the Bioanalytical Principal Investigators and Management by ensuring proper organization and/or schedule of the direct reports on daily basis, provide proper communication of study instructions and work closely with the laboratory staff to increase the efficiency and ensure appropriate technical procedures on daily work; Responsible to ensure Health and Safety procedure/guidelines are properly followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage the employees of the team in their daily tasks (priorities, efficiency, planning, etc);
  • Work closely with Bioanalytical Principal Investigators and Management to ensure the analyst work is efficient, ensure to communicate instructions to all laboratory people and ensure procedures are followed and are performed in compliance with protocols, SOPs and GLP’s and all applicable regulations;
  • As assigned ensure analyst schedule is efficient
  • Support, coach and mentor direct reports in the daily basis for completion of all laboratory studies as scheduled;
  • Ensure that the analyst work is performed in respect of health and safety guidelines and done following laboratory procedures, method specifications and schedule on a daily basis;
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve quality, safety and efficiency in the laboratory;
  • Ensure that any issues related to ongoing studies are resolved in a timely manner and communicate to the Management team;
  • Perform daily safety inspection and apply immediately corrective actions when required;
  • Coordinate laboratory cleaning before client/agency visits and audits when needed;
  • To coordinate technical training with assigned trainers and perform technical trainings as needed;
  • To perform employee evaluations including career path development and provides feedback to Management to maintain consistency amongst all teams Observe all company guidelines and policies and keep up to date with respect to pertinent regulatory developments in the industry;
  • To perform any other duties as assigned.
