Bureau Veritas is looking for a
Laboratory Technician (LC/MS – MS Lab)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain sample integrity and produce high quality, defensible data.
  • Prepare reagents and/or analytical standards required for sample extraction.
  • Verify, calibrate and maintain volumetric devices and other laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear and concise allowing for full traceability and reconstruction of tasks performed.
  • Under the guidance of Supervisor or Senior Chemist, participate in the development and validation of new methodologies.
  • Suggest and help to implement changes in procedures and processes, which could improve efficiency, productivity, quality, etc.
  • Assist in monitoring the inventory of supplies/consumables required for daily operations.
  • General lab support including, washing glassware, archiving samples, etc.
  • Support and enforce strict adherence to corporate Quality and Health & Safety policies.
  • Keep work area clean, neat and organized.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by their Supervisor
