Reporting to our team leads, the Pickers are responsible for working inside our warehouse on a metal recycling production line sorting, picking, and processing different pieces of metal and various other general labour duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting, picking, and processing metal pieces within the nonferrous picking line
  • Manually heavy lift materials to assist in loading/ unloading and stocking of material
  • Clean and/or pressure wash equipment
  • Use any hand tools that may be required for tasks
  • Assisting with loading scrap metal for sales
  • Sort and stack materials as directed
  • Maintain a safe clean and orderly working environment
  • Complete Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
  • Other general labour duties as require
