Description:

LABOURER

Location: Onsite covering works in Crewe and surrounding areas - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours
As a Labourer for Novus Property Solutions, youll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. In this varied role, where no two days are the same, youll work across a diverse range of properties and customers, trusted, and supported to make decisions and deliver everything you do with compassion and care. You will ensure materials received are correct and distributed efficiently around site, assist with the ripping out of items such as Windows and Doors and anything Sustain related on void and occupied properties, removing all items to meet health and safety standards, meaning your days will be varied and interesting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the stock levels of the stores are kept to a level as agreed with the Contracts Manager.
  • Ensure materials received are of a high standard in terms of quality and stored appropriately within the Site Compound
  • Supporting with the ripping out and removing kitchens/bathrooms from site.
  • General labouring around Sites
  • Liaise with Site Manager to ensure stock is maintained
  • Manage Systems so they are up to date and accurate
  • Assist with the procurement, off hires and costing of all internal and external Plant and skips.
  • To ensure all plant issued to Trade operatives if fit for use, safe to use and ensure the Trade operative in receipt of the equipment is trained to use it.
  • Deliver materials and plant to operatives on site and remove any removed materials safely
  • Ensure all office and carpark space is kept clean and in order, including removing refuge from site
  • Follow and enforce company health and safety procedures
  • This role may require a Full UK Driving Licence and a DBS Check to be taken
