Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, a Spanish leading company in the development and generation of solar photovoltaic energy in southern Europe, with the aim of actively contributing to decarbonization and making the global energy model based on clean energy, putting the sustainable approach in our strategy and business management.
At that moment, we are looking for Solaria Germany GmbH, a Land Acquisition Manager to join our team in order to cover our main areas we want to develop.
Minimum requirements
You will be in charge of:
- You will be a proactive individual with the objective identifying viable land for large projects to be built.
- You will have confidence in working closely with several teams internally to ensure that the land is secured, and work to a high level of autonomy to achieve their utility-scale PV projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment. At the same time, you will have a direct impact on the development and growth of the business in the coming years.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, visit, and qualify new sites and land dependant on the company’s business guidelines.
- Assess the suitability of certain land characteristics (size, potential capacity, condition of energy infrastructure).
- Use the GIS system to capture, store and display project plans. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Communicate with landowners and local authorities.
- Ability to efficiently source market information.
- In-depth knowledge of permitting and land use regulations.
- Capable of carrying out basic due diligence on land and developments.
- Native German and fluent in English.
Education:
- BSc degree or equivalent qualifications
- Advisors with at least 3 years of experience. Experience in Sale/Purchase of fertilizers, seeds or machinery in rural areas. Rural properties are highly valued. Telecommunication and real estate experience also welcome.
- You will travel at least a 50% of your working day to different places around your area.
- It is also essential to have good command of Excel.
- Good people skills and negotiation experience.
