Description:

This is an exciting opportunity in our Calgary or Winnipeg office affording you the opportunity to work with an industry-leading innovative design team in the land development industry. You would be involved in a variety of sustainable planned greenfield and redevelopment projects for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have an interest in detailed design of subdivisions and site grading, servicing, roads, including obtaining approvals and other related activities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work with the Land Development team on Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan land development projects;
  • Work with the design team to ensure client expectations are met;
  • Assist with obtaining land development approvals
  • Assist with the preparation of proposal documents;

Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering degree or Technologist diploma with 5+ years’ experience;
  • A self-motivated individual looking for advancement opportunities in an exciting, growing company;
  • A keen interest in working in a consulting environment in a unique office setting focused on sustainable land development and heavy civil design projects;
  • Knowledge of the land development approvals process for the City of Calgary or City of Winnipeg a key asset;
  • Working knowledge of the Infrastructure Design Suite of products including Civil 3D;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
