    Position is in Woomera South Australia, DIDO 14 days on 7 days off, 11 hours a day
    Job Summary:
    The Land Management Team Leader responsible for leading a team of personnel in the day-to-day land management operations. This includes ensuring safe and timely completion of allocated work while adhering to all safety requirements.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and supervise a team of land management personnel in daily operations.

  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members.

  • Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of allocated tasks.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and communicate safety procedures
  • Perform hands-on land management tasks as required
  • Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, excavators, chainsaws, and power tools
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders as necessary

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Horticultural Certificate IV or above
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience (Leading Hand experience)
  • More than 2 years of relevant experience in land management
  • Valid licenses/tickets for forklifts, bobcats, excavators, chainsaws, and relevant power tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead others
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures
  • Systems/Software Experience (preferred but not required):

Microsoft Office Suite

  • SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Qualifications/Background Checks:
  • Current police clearance
  • Contactable referees

14 days on, 7 days off roster
11-hour day shif
