JOB DESCRIPTION:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Land Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to work on a construction supervision team responsible to supervise Construction of Roads, bridges, Underpasses retaining walls and utilities project in Abu Dhabi .

WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:

  • Survey License from ADM/Town Planning Department is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum (5) years’ experience or Diploma in Field Surveying / Engineering with Minimum (10) years’ experience in a Construction of roads/Bridges & environment in the MENA Region.
  • Ability to communicate in English with a high proficiency both written and spoken.
  • Prior Experience on a Construction Supervision Consultant Team or Project Management Consultant Team.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, GPS and Office 365.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to carry out the Road Construction and Bridges field surveys along with the utilities protection/relocation activities.
  • Responsible to conduct field operations/surveys on land.
  • Responsible to witness contractor performing surveys, logging the information and verifying the installed quantities in coordination with the contractor, employer and quantity surveyors on the team.
  • Responsible to identify the client’s priority zones on the critical path and update progress reports daily. Must maintain Daily Log of all Activities.
  • Troubleshoot challenges with the Contractor and other Consultants in order to achieve measurable success.
  • Liaise with other agencies (Consultants/Contractors/ Relevant Authorities) to coordinate the survey work.
  • Prepare neat sketches to support the field work.
  • Preserve all the survey information (field books, sketches & calculations).
  • Complete all surveying assignments on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
