Laundry Aide

As a Laundry Aide you will perform various laundry duties and related essential services to meet the laundering needs of the residents, while consistently maintaining the relevant health, hygiene, and safety standards. • Sort and separate items to be laundered in accordance with laundering requirements and ensure proper identification of all personal clothing.
• Operate automatic washing machines, dryers, iron and sewing machine.
• Transport laundered garments to appropriate floors, hand iron and fold or hang garments after laundering.
• Maintain appropriate level of supplies like soap, bleach, fabric softener and thread.
• Perform simple mending and repairs.
• Maintain a clean work environment, dust and wash equipment and shelves as required.
