POSITION OVERVIEW
Laundry Attendants take a proactive approach to providing a high-quality guest experience and have a meticulous and committed work ethic. Their passion lies in hospitality and positively impacting the guest experience by demonstrating proven customer service skills.
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for processing the day-to-day lodge laundry. The Laundry Attendant has a strong understanding of guest expectations, teamwork, and excellent time management skills. The Laundry Attendant position also supports the dinner service by hosting a table of guests each evening, serving food, and assisting with the clean-up process in the kitchen.
This is a seasonal job opportunity. The CMH summer season runs from late-June to early-September. Daily rate of pay is based on a 10-hour day, worked as a split shift. A typical schedule consists of 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Accommodation is available while on shift, at no extra cost, for staff joining our team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in hospitality field, preferred.
- Food Safe Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ hospitality experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment.
- Background in luxury hospitality or fine dining, preferred.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily upkeep of the main laundry area, and efficient ordering of laundry supplies.
- Efficiently manage cleaning responsibilities daily, as well as ensuring the safe handling of cleaning products.
- Support the culinary program with serving, clearing, and cleaning.
- Provide a professional, highly organized, and detailed hospitality experience.
- Perform radio duty, as required, to support field operations.
- Follow OH&S, food safe, and WHMIS best-practices.
- Train, participate in and provide support as required during emergency response situations.Support guests and employees in the field program as needed.
