EXPERIENCE
As the successful candidate, you will be a skilled back-end Construction lawyer, with a minimum of three year’s post-admission experience gained in a mid to large-sized firm. As well as in-depth industry knowledge, you will be passionate about construction, with a keen desire to develop a long-term career in this space. Furthermore, you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work well both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an enthusiastic and competent back-end lawyer to join our high-regarded Sydney Construction team.
This team operates across an array of construction and infrastructure disputes, including complex, contract disputes, regulatory enforcements, arbitration, and Security of Payment adjudications. Their client base is primarily comprised of top and mid-tier contractors, and the team is renowned for providing innovative and commercially focused solutions.
The team is engaged on most of NSW’s large infrastructure projects, primarily with a contractor focus but also advising relevant government agencies. With a down-to-earth and commercial approach to legal services, the team competes with top-tier firms for major infrastructure back-end and project advisory work.
