THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a junior Lawyer to join our Corporate/M&A practice based in our Brisbane office. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to be involved in interesting work within a collaborative and friendly environment.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a 1 – 3 years’ experience in broad corporate and commercial matters, working in a medium to large law firm.

You should be practical and proactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem solving skills and work well in a team. A high level of client service is expected as are excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills.

In this role you will be servicing corporate and commercial matters for key clients alongside a well-known industry partner. On a day to day basis you will have the chance to;

• act for international and domestic clients from a variety of different industries;
• advise on a range of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, joint venture arrangements and advisory work on corporate governance matters and regulatory issues;
• prepare and advise on a wide variety of contracts and terms and conditions;
• interact with clients and liaise with colleagues in other offices and practice areas around the globe
• participate in business development and client relationship activities.
