Turks are looking for a 0 - 2 year PQE Lawyer to join our General Insurance group in Brisbane, to work on a mixed practice of general insurance matters.
Our team in Brisbane is rapidly growing, with the successful candidate working closely with our partners, wider group and clients.

Responsibilities

You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including:

  • working on a range of complex insurance litigation and insurance advice matters, across a mixed practice including property damage files;
  • develop skills in insurance law and litigation;
  • have regular involvement and contact with clients;
  • appear in various courts and tribunals including Magistrates, County and Supreme courts; and
  • supervise and train junior lawyers as required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • an academic qualification in law, with a current QLD Practicing Certificate;
  • experience ideally in insurance litigation; and
  • excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.
