KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide support to the Commercial and Legal team in the provision of legal, commercial and risk management advice and activities in relation to all stages of project delivery of the WGTP.
• Interface with WGTP MTIA’s external advisors to ensure a consistent and agreed approach is taken on legal positions which support WGTP MTIA’s expectations.
• Provide advice to the project teams, Deputy Director Legal and Director Commercial and Legal on legal issues related to WGTP MTIA’s activities and matters.
• Draft, develop and review approvals documentation, prepare briefs and provide ad hoc legal advice to other WGTP MTIA teams to achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide advice to project teams on project implementation issues, including matters relating to legislation, contracting, interfaces, utility service providers, property, planning and matters of public law.
