REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree or similar.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably experienced within Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind layouts
- 10-15 years + experience layout design, E3D/PDMS modelling
- Experience with concept development work
- Experience and understanding in Greenfield and Brownfield design
- Knowledge of methods and technologies for layout and material handling design
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for layout design
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have multidiscipline understanding and act proactive, seeking advice/share experience in design processes.
Cooperative working attitude and participate in design reviews.
Layout and design based on NorSok knowledge and have loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirements. Some offshore-, fabrication- and commissioning- and site support experience preferred.
Intercultural competence and acceptance for multicultural working teams has to be acknowledged.
- English communication skills required, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities:
As a Layout engineer in our organisation, you will work in multidiscipline areas. We are focusing on great team participation and effort and many opportunities will be possible for the right person, including ability to take on leadership roles within the project organisation.
- Perform general layout evaluations and piping layout activities by using Aveva E3D modelling & Draft tools.
- Evaluate access, working environment and material handling in physical layout and design.
- Knowledge and ability to create plot plans, equipment layouts and piping drawings according to project plans and requirements. Participate in design reviews. Ability to take on leadership roles.
