Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity as a Lead Administrator, supporting the Operations Division portfolio; a diverse portfolio covering a wide range of service areas including Information Technology Services, Property and Campus Development, Sustainability and Health and Safety.
With your proactive approach, organisational skills and enthusiasm, you’ll be instrumental in steering the ship and driving success within the division.
In this role you will lead staff, manage the provision of administration support, and be involved in process improvement.
You will support a team of Administrators who are dispersed across a range of departments and locations, collaborating closely with key stakeholders and Directors.
The role will require you to:
- Maintain regular communication and work closely with stakeholders.
- Develop a working knowledge of your team’s day-to-day administrative tasks and University of Otago systems and processes.
- Ensure your staff are appropriately trained, equipped and supported to fulfil their roles.
- Work continuously to improve systems and processes.
You will work alongside experienced Lead Administrators and as part of a supportive leadership team.
