Description:

Do you have extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Finnish register data and applied register-based research? Are you a team player with strong analytical and communication skills who is looking to work as a consultant? Quantify is growing rapidly and we are now looking for a Lead Analyst with at least 4 years of relevant experience to join our new Real-world Evidence & Analytics team in Helsinki. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Postgraduate degree (MSc, PhD) in statistics, biostatistics, economics, data science, epidemiology, engineering, mathematics or another quantitative discipline
  • At least 4+ years of relevant work experience at a pharmaceutical company, consultancy, government agency or university
  • Extensive experience from working with Finnish register data; experience from other Nordic data sources is a merit
  • Documented experience of applied register-based research including data management and statistical analysis using Stata or R
  • Experienced in writing statistical analysis plans, study protocols, study reports
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Finnish and English is mandatory
  • Hard working, driven and curious
  • Strong analytical skills combined with an independent, solution oriented “hands-on” mentality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed critical skills with attention to detail
  • Verbal/written skills in a Nordic language is a merit

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Analyst in Finland you will be responsible for supporting project teams with expertise in Finnish data sources, and to provide other advanced analytics tasks, such as writing study protocols and conducting data management and statistical analysis of patient data from all Nordic countries, using R or Stata. You will ensure client satisfaction through careful planning, clear communication, high quality deliverables, and collaboration within teams.

Examples of day-to-day activities include:

  • Investigate different sources for health data and its quality
  • Apply for real-world data and communicate with data holders
  • Develop study protocols and statistical analysis plans
  • Develop code for data management and analysis in R or Stata
  • Perform quality control of statistical code and output
  • Prepare study reports and academic publications
  • Presentations to internal or external teams
  • Design and execute multiple projects at any given time, and support sales related activities through expertise in data sources and study design
