The Role
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience of both IT & Revenues and Benefits, particularly in Annual Billing, to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 9 professionals supporting a variety of applications across Revenues & Benefits, Finance, Legal, and Democratic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of 9, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on management of a Revenues & Benefits application, with a preference for experience in 3rd Party products from NEC (formerly Northgate).
  • Annual Billing: Oversee and manage the IT elements of the Annual Billing process within the Revenues and Benefits service.
  • Application Support: Ensure seamless support and operation of applications across multiple business areas.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with peers and stakeholders within the business.

About You

  • Experience: Significant experience in Revenues and Benefits, with a strong focus on Annual Billing.
  • Product Knowledge: Proficient in managing 3rd Party Revenues & Benefits products, particularly from NEC.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing and developing a team.
  • Technical Skills: Strong IT skills, with hands-on experience in managing software applications.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
