Description:

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree Qualified in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of body systems – security, doors, HVAC, Wash/Wiper, lighting desirable
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C+ and experience with embedded software development would be advantageous
  • Good Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, aimed at the development of models for Body control Module (BCM)
  • Good knowledge of Automotive communication protocols like CAN, and LIN. (Ethernet Knowledge – Desirable).
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Diagnostics would be advantageous
  • Must have experience in Automotive requirement management which includes the understanding of component/System level requirements, derivation of “Design Verification Method” and “Design Verification Procedure”.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop high-level system and software architectures for distributed body electronics features.
  • Design scalable, modular, and flexible software solutions that can adapt to evolving technology and customer requirements.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of the Body Electronics Engineering team.
  • Develop network management and diagnostics requirements.
  • Achievement of objectives per project: deadlines, function, costs, quality, industrialization, design for manufacturing, mass etc
  • Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards (such as ISO 26262) and cybersecurity requirements for in-vehicle systems.
  • Achievement of maturity levels and deadlines according to quality gate for all projects
