WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

ACML is actively seeking a Lead Building Operator located in Vancouver, BC whose main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinates with the Manager, Facilities Management Services to prioritise tasks for Journeypersons and other FMS Resources on shift;
  • Reports all emergency repairs and safety issues to the Manager, Facilities Management Services;
  • Monitors all site work orders ensuring all work is performed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Oversees the work of sub-contractor technicians, mechanics, consultants, etc.;
  • Supervises minor construction or building alteration projects including office relocation;
  • Performs preventative maintenance to building systems;
  • Responds to corrective maintenance issues and tenant complaints as they arise;
  • Responds to work orders as they arise utilizing a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS);
  • Monitors BAS and performs adjustments as required;
  • Performs minor electrical tasks such as changing lights or isolating malfunctioning equipment to prevent further damage;
  • Assists with maintaining inventory of all materials, parts, Critical Spares, tools, and equipment required for the delivery of Services;
  • Performs minor plumbing tasks such as unplugging drains and isolating water systems to prevent flooding damage to the buildings;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
