Responsibilities:

  • Coaches and guides the achievement of Westpac’s strategy by working with stakeholders as directed to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems.
  • Coaches and guides the business in the definition of their business operating model in order to support business strategy by designing business solutions that deliver targeted business outcomes;
  • Supports executive decision making in the prioritisation of requirements, initiatives and allocation of funds for future investment through the preparation of business cases; and
  • To steward the direction of the business analysis practice across the Westpac Group towards industry best practice.
  • Constructing and presenting the business case and benefits realisation plan to facilitate investment decisions, specifically analysis of the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs.
  • Leading the business in defining the Business Operating Model to support business strategy. This includes defining the value chain, product/service offerings, distribution channel, business functions and systems.
