Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant within a product driven organization as part of the Product Commercialization Function for Wells Fargo Merchant Services, focused on driving and overseeing the successful launch and commercialization of new products and features. As a pivotal member of our team, you will work closely with Product Managers, and other business stakeholders (in Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Operations, etc.), to ensure all non-development related Go to Market activities are completed and validated prior to the launch of the new product or feature. These activities include providing light weight project management, business analysis, consultation, and documentation support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the product development process, market research, and marketing strategies. Critical to success in this role is having a customer-first, risk and control centric mindset with prior experience building and or commercializing digital products in an agile environment.
We are looking for a motivated and influential professional to join our team on an exciting journey towards transformative product commercialization. Together, we will shape the future of our company and the marketplace at large. This is an opportunity not to be missed! So, if you’re ready to take on an exciting new challenge, apply now and become a part of our ambitious team.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for ensuring Go to Market readiness for all non-development related deliverables tied to a material product and or feature release (examples of deliverables: product collateral; internal communications; process and procedure documentation; controls; etc.)
  • Lead the end-to-end commercialization process for new products, from concept to launch, ensuring successful market introduction.
  • Develop comprehensive product launch plans, including go-to-market strategies, sales collateral, promotional activities, and training programs.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration is key to successful product commercialization. You will act as a liaison between product development, marketing, sales, and operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the launch process. Your ability to bring teams together, align goals, and drive consensus will be essential to our success.
  • Monitor Performance and Drive Continuous Improvement: Your analytical skills will come into play as you track key performance indicators (KPIs) post-launch. By analyzing market feedback, customer satisfaction, and sales data, you will identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance our products and marketing strategies.
  • Optimize Market Positioning: You will leverage your expertise to define and refine our product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies. By understanding customer needs and market trends, you will ensure that our products stand out from the competition and resonate with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing campaigns, advertising materials, and sales tools.
  • Work closely with sales teams to provide product training, sales support, and customer education.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on product commercialization progress, performance, and recommendations.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group’s functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
