Responsibilities:

WELLS FARGO IS SEEKING A LEAD BUSINESS EXECUTION CONSULTANT IN THE CREDIT SERVICES GROUP AS PART OF CARDS & MERCHANT SERVICES (CMS). THE CREDIT SERVICES CHANGE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPREHENSIVE CHANGE MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY TO ADDRESS HOW WE INTRODUCE, PRIORITIZE, MANAGE, AND TRACK CHANGE. THIS INTEGRATED APPROACH ADDRESSES KEY PROCESSES, SYSTEMS, TOOLS, RISK MANAGEMENT CONTROLS, AND HUMAN CAPITAL DISCIPLINES TO FACILITATE CHANGE THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STRATEGY, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, EXECUTION AND OVERSIGHT OF CREDIT SERVICES CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROCESS FOR ALL CHANGE. EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION IS A KEY ASPECT OF THE ROLE, AND THE ABILITY TO BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS TO ACHIEVE COMMON GOALS WITH DIVERSE TEAMS ACROSS THE ORGANIZATION IS CRITICAL.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group’s functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
  • Lead strategy, design, execution and oversight of Credit Services change management process for all change, regardless of size or scope. Lead key stakeholder and change governance routines. Drive seamless adoption of change management process across all Credit Services functions.
  • Drive the implementation and improvement of the strategic change management solution centered around driving efficiency, effectiveness, controls, and sustainability.
  • Closely partner with a variety of stakeholders and business partners such as Operations teams, Reporting and Analytics, Credit Risk, Control, Operational Risk Business Oversight, Compliance and Legal to oversee all change that is occurring within the business and influence clear understanding of scope and change impacts, ensure appropriate risks are being addressed, key stakeholders are engaged in the process, and oversee that change management controls are being performed as expected.
  • Drive consistency in managing and delivering change by building partnerships with leaders and their teams and ensuring professional execution of change in alignment with the pre-established approach.
  • Develop accurate and beneficial reporting/dashboards, KPIs and insights sharing health/progress for Credit Services change portfolio. Produce insights to influence better change prioritization in alignment with CMS and Credit Services strategic objectives.
  • Compile, maintain, deliver consolidated, accurate Credit Services Change Management Inventory on an ongoing basis to meet expectations.
  • Understand strategic plans, regulatory and compliance requirements and implications; and be able to effectively partner with and influence sponsors and key stakeholders to develop and execute change.
  • Be fully integrated into operations, know the business, understand key drivers, OKR’s, KPI’s and be in-sync with strategic priorities. This will require constant interaction with business leaders & stakeholders and a deep understanding of the data.
  • Demonstrate change leadership, influence business leaders and stakeholders to drive commitment and action. Demonstrate critical thinking, stakeholder awareness to drive measured progress. Connect the dots to help tell business leaders change story in a concise and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate and speak agile language; provide team with support and coaching, and work through roadblocks quickly.
