CLA is looking to hire a Lead Business Process Analyst to join our growing Enterprise IT team.
About the role:
This role is responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing and implementing solutions to optimize business operations. The role requires a deep understanding of the business, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
As a Lead Business Process Analyst, you will:
- Analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows: Business Process Analysts are responsible for analyzing and documenting current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Documenting, analyzing, and assessing current business processes and underlying systems and applications.
- Leveraging workflow software to develop process models and identifying optimization opportunities in existing business processes.
- Lead facilitation and mapping discussions for enterprise-wide projects to deliver BPMN artifacts
- Engage in work efforts with minimal direction and oversight to accomplish deliverables within the timeframe needed
- Capture time to complete process/workflow steps to determine potential savings
- Report and present the findings, results, and recommendations in a professional format(s) to leadership and other stakeholders
- Identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions: Business Process Analysts must be able to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current processes and recommend solutions to improve them.
- Requires a deep understanding of the business and the ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to assess the unique requirements of CLA and make valid recommendations for the improvement of processes across service lines and sub-service lines
- Possess business acumen and capability to analyze data
- Developing and implementing process improvement initiatives: Business Process Analysts are responsible for developing and implementing process improvement initiatives to optimize business processes and workflows.
- This requires strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization
- They must assist the executive team to make appropriate decisions to ensure alignment with CLA’s key objectives and goals
- Facilitate conversations, interviews, and/or workshops across key business stakeholders to capture current and future processes using BPMN
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess ability to write business reports
- Communicate documented processes in a way that is engaging and understood by a varied target audience
- Act as an intermediary between management teams, IT professionals, and executive decision-makers, and interface with business and technical leaders throughout all levels of the organization
What you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in business process analysis and improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools
- Ability to develop and maintain process documentation
- Knowledge of BPMN guidelines for creating effective and efficient BPMN diagrams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s Degree or experience acceptable in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in modeling/mapping as-is and to-be business processes.
- Proficiency with Agile / Lean methodologies, BPMN, MS Visio, MS Office, MS Teams, Azure DevOps and process mapping applications such as Cawemo, Camunda 7 Web Modeler, Camunda 8 Web Modeler
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
