Responsibilities:

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Reporting to the Commodity Manager, the Lead Buyer to deploy the commodity strategy in Australia & New-Zealand This is a full time permanent role based in either our CBD or Dandenong offices. The successful candidate will ensure that project execution in line with Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) and support our global supplier panel relationship (supplier workload, contract negotiation, supplier performance).

A BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

  • Build and manage the global supplier panel relationship and monitor day to day performance and issues
  • Provide commodity support on site including the consolidation of commodity needs and inputs
  • Actively participate in the commodity strategy and provide support throughout the tender phase, working effectively and collaboratively with others to resolve problems and capitalize on opportunities
  • Lead project negotiations, prepare and launch Request for Quotations with suppliers
  • Prepare and manage P&L statements, cost and non-conformity registers and compliance status reports
