You will need to be an AHCS registered practitioner or HCPC registered Clinical Scientist, with a relevant master’s level qualification or doctorate. You should have relevant professional qualifications and evidence of post graduate development is essential. This post is suited to a Registered Clinical Scientist however consideration will be given to those currently part way through the AHCS equivalence process. We hope to support staff through the HSST programme in the future.

We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their colleagues as well as themselves, and so the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leadership, mentoring, teaching and developing junior staff and students.
You should have experience of the STP programmes. We are currently supporting staff to undertake MSc level clinical qualifications as well as providing mentorship and support to those applying for registration as a Clinical Scientist. We have a dedicated training budget which allows staff to attend national and international educational events
