Description:

Your responsibilities

  • Global Strategic Supplier Management to deliver and improve QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance
  • Define & Execute Category Strategy for EPDS (External Product Design Solutions)
  • Design a resilient and sustainable supply base
  • Introduce Technology advances to support BU growth
  • Lead, mentor, train and develop the category managers through clear objectives including goal setting, performance management and reviews, and improving Key Performance Indicators
  • Definition of category strategies for products/finished goods including risk-management
  • Sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation and management
  • Ensure early supplier identification and selection, working closely with Advanced Sourcing team
  • Work on Supplier relationship management (SRM), performance management and supplier development
  • Develop and drive continuous improvements in Category Management processes
  • Ensure project deliverables (incl. documentation, reporting of relevant project results etc.) and align closely with CMSO and Procurement sponsor(s) regarding status and progressEnsure management of changes in active projects, in collaboration with the sponsor and project governance (e. g. scope, budget, timeline)

Your qualification

  • Academic degree Business Administration or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in international strategic procurement in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience at management level in medical device or other regulated industry is preferred
  • Experience in leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams, and a track record of developing and implementing category strategies
  • Experience of SRM-applications is a plus
  • Persuasive presenter and facilitator
  • Ability to condense and present complex information to key personnel in meaningful reports and presentations.
  • Good English language skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
