Description:
For the division Engineering at Adient Aerospace in Kaiserslautern, we are looking for a
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience required
- Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation and a sense of urgency and sensitivity to deadlines
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and the ability to analyze, regulatory requirements and advisory materials
- Very good communication skills with internal and external personnel at all levels
- Excellent risk management skills required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent knowledge of English and German languages (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of (E)TSO processes and general EASA regulations
- Knowledge of dynamic and static testing processes and procedures
- Willingness to travel on business required
Responsibilities:
- Develop certification test plans and reports ensuring compliance to regulatory and OEM requirements.
- Communicate with project team members to identify scope of work, schedule, design details, quotes, risks, and other pertinent factors impacting certification.
- Oversee and assist as necessary with test article build and conformity.
- Identify potential certification issues and any adverse impact; communicates any certification related information to supervisor and impacted disciplines. Analyze problems and derive appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date certification records.
- Interface with airlines, OEMs, Installer, Aviation Authorities, and suppliers to ensure certification within project timeline is achieved.
- Act as subject matter expert for certification issues in dynamic and static testing, design compliance, and aircraft installation and integration.
- Represent company at customer, industry or other required meetings.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
- Develop and provide solutions to complex problems based on established precedents and are consistent with organization objectives.
- Develop internal best practices.
- Monitor latest industry issues and documents; communicate information to applicable team members.
- Review prototype designs and drawings; identify and communicate necessary changes.
- Develop tools, as necessary, to track deliverables, testing, compliance findings, to assure on-time completion of certification tasks
