KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop, design and maintain VulcanForms compensation programs as well as new programs that attract & retain employees
  • Partner with the VP of HR to establish company-wide job architecture including job families and job leveling.
  • Establish and maintain as salary structure and compensation guidelines for hiring and internal job changes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation programs, guidelines and procedures. Provide recommendations or new programs or updates to existing to increase the effectiveness of programs and alignment with external requirements and trends.
  • Establish and maintain an annual compensation review cycle from end to end including data preparation, process design and communications as well as review & approval.
  • Participate in compensation surveys
  • Continually evaluate programs & processes to identify opportunities to increase efficiency & accuracy. Leverage internal tools to build & maintain tools to support compensation programs & communication.
  • Partner stakeholders throughout the organization including HRBPs, Finance & Business Leaders on compensation topics, programs & initiatives
  • Provide consultative support to HR Business Partners & business leaders to resolve compensation questions and issues in alignment with VulcanForms compensation principles
  • Review and evaluate new jobs to determine appropriate compensation based on external market data and internal job & compensation structures
  • Partner with FP&A on development of budget for compensation programs and analysis of variance of actuals throughout the year
  • Develop compensation communications, training and content to educate & communicate compensation principles programs to all levels throughout the organization
  • Other projects as assigned to support the compensation function or broader HR organization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience of which 4+ are in Compensation
  • Strong google sheets and/or excel skills including developing & maintaining complex models, building internal tools
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze and distill data and feedback from varying sources, identify trends, and communicate recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to build trust and confidence in expertise with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives as required, demonstrating effective project management skills, with strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with a variety of compensation vehicles and programs including annual bonus programs and equity compensation

Responsibilities:

The Lead Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the creation and management of VulcanForms compensation program. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will handle all things compensation as well as advise on related HR programs.
