Description:
We are looking for a brilliant legal mind to join our Legal and Compliance team as a Lead Compliance Manager for our Latin America Regional Compliance Team.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- A law, business, IT, or other degree if a candidate has a relevant work experience in the compliance area
- Knowledge of Spanish and English languages
- At least 5 years’ experience in compliance, preferably in the gaming industry (whether in the private or public sector)
Responsibilities:
- Managing all licence applications and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant licences held by Betsson Group in LATAM
- Advising and counselling the organisation on a wide-range of compliance issues and regulatory matters associated with the commercial operations, with an emphasis on structuring and implementation of complex business projects; More generally, you will be responsible for identifying compliance issues, providing analysis of business/operational/compliance risks and creating and implementing solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently;
- Coordinating with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on various aspects of legal and compliance matters arising in LATAM
- Managing regulatory audits and inspections as may arise from time to time
- Managing relationships with external legal counsel as required
- Following the work of interest groups and other relevant associations and working with the Head of Regulatory Affairs on company-specific positions
- Keeping abreast of developments in approaches to regulation
- Manage LATAM regional compliance team
